Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin was born in 1963 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. So Arvinder Singh was born into an Indian NRI family. After birth, he spent his entire childhood in the UK and started his education in the UK.

After completing his schooling, he studied medicine and surgery at a medical college in the UK and later came to India and started his MBBS education at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi). He studied at AIIMS for about 11 years because after completing his MBBS, he continued his MS degree as well.

After getting the MS degree, he continued further studies in Liver and Gastrointestinal Surgery for specialist experience.

Meanwhile, he worked on the research thesis of Portal Hypertensive Gastropathy and moved forward by performing well.

After completing his education in India, he went to Glasgow and Edinburgh UK where he completed his FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons) degrees. So he studied deeply in the field of surgery and medicine and made himself the best doctor in the world.

 Because Dr Soin was one of the few individuals based in the UK who qualified as an Intercollegiate FRCS in Transplant Surgery. Dr Arvinder later trained at the University of Cambridge and gained experience by closely studying Liver and Biliary Surgery, Liver, Kidney, Small Bowel, and Pancreas transplantation. He did research at Cambridge University for about 5 years.

Talking about Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin’s career, he started his career in the year 1994-95 and later came in front of the world by doing the country’s first successful transplant in the year 1998. But even before this, he had done many commendable works at Cambridge University. Between the years 2001 to 2010, he worked as a specialist in India and then established a humongous liver transplant center in Sir Gangaram Hospital. Later he went to Haryana and established Medanta-The Medicity.
